Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Refrain

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!

Refrain

His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

Refrain

I love this Hymn...especiall the last verse:

"His word shall not fail you..."
-People will fail you, people will preach false doctrines, but you can always find truth in Gods word!

"Believe Him, and all will be well..."
-What a comfort...he is always there for us!

"Then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell."
-People are dying and going to hell, we need go to them and show them the hope we have in Jesus!

Can you tell I like this song?

I love this song!

I was just looking at some older posts on my blog and realized you had asked if I was homeschooled. In answer, yes, I am and have been for my entire school life- along with my six younger siblings!
