☼ Cleaning ☼
"The Mole had been working very hard all the morning, spring- cleaning his little home. First with brooms, then with dusters; then on ladders and steps and chairs, with a brush and a pail of whitewash; till he had dust in his throat and eyes, and splashes of whitewash all over his black fur, and an aching back and weary arms. Spring was moving in the air above and in the earth below and around him, penetrating even his dark and lowly little house with its spirit of divine discontent and longing. It was small wonder, then, that he suddenly flung down his brush on the floor, said `Bother!' and `O blow!' and also `Hang spring-cleaning!' and bolted out of the house without even waiting to put on his coat. Something up above was calling him imperiously, and he made for the steep little tunnel which answered in his case to the gravelled carriage-drive owned by animals whose residences are nearer to the sun and air. So he scraped and scratched and scrabbled and scrooged and then he scrooged again and scrabbled and scratched and scraped, working busily with his little paws and muttering to himself, `Up we go! Up we go!' till at last, pop! his snout came out into the sunlight, and he found himself rolling in the warm grass of a great meadow.

<---Today we did lots of cleaning and mowing lawns. This is my rag, scrubby thing that erases marks on your walls, and my iced tea.
<---What we listened to while we cleaned.
<--- I played a game with my dad using this. You've got to try and hit the numbers and what ever number you hit thats how many points you get. I use it for pitching. And o yea... I won. :)
<--- My bucket of balls.
-Thursday and Friday Camping-
Thursday night my brother, E, decided he was going to go camping in his new tent outside. The night before I slept in the tent with him in our living room, so he wanted to try it outside. :) At about 11:15 pm. my sister Ana and I decided that it would be a ton of fun if we went outside and camped with him! So we bundled up all of our blankets, sleeping bags and pillows and headed outside. We got all settled in at about 11:30. 'Twas a wonderful fun time. In the morning my dearest Mother and Father brought us date-oatmeal muffins and black tea for breakfast, so we got to eat "in bed." It was very yummy!! So that was our "camping party." We'll have to do it again when it is a bit warmer outside, 'Cause we all ended up huddling with Ana 'cause she was in the middle and 'cause it was cold. :) So here are some pictures. (Click on the pictures to get a closer view of them.)
<--- My sister went inside the house to grab the camera and I guess she took this one one her way back to the tent.
<---My doggie Kida. Ana and E had to turn on a flash light just so we could take a picture of her.
<---The tent door in the morning.
<--- Umm... yea that's me. I woke up to a camera in my face! :) ( It's red because the tent is red.)
<---Drink holders.
<--- My sister's lotion bottle in the pouch thingy.
<---The sun coming through the tent door in the morning. It was really bright!
<--- Our tea and muffins. Very yummmy!
<---....Me eating the muffin. *smiles* It was good. ;)
(L) My shoes.
(Below) My sister's slippers. (Notice the grass through the tent.)
<--- Our sleeping bags and blankets. My brother E slept on the left, Ana in the middle, and I slept on the right.
<--- Our beloved tent.

♥ A Prayer of Charles Spurgeon ♥
O Thou Blessed God! The joy of knowing that we are Thine forever, Thine in the trials of life, and Thine in the last dread of death, and then Thine in resurrection, Thine throughout eternity! We do therefore worship Thee, O God, not as a constraining nor under terror or pressure, but cheerfully and gladly, ascribing unto Thee praise, and power, and dominion, and glory, and honour, world without end.
We wish we knew how to do something for Thee. We pray that we may be helped to do so ere we die; yea, that every flying hour may confess that we have brought Thy gospel some renown; that we may so live as to extend the Redeemer's kingdom at least in some little measure; that ours may not be a fruitless, wasted life; that no faculty of ours may lay by and rust; but to the utmost of our capacity may we be helped of the Divine Spirit to spend our whole life in real adoration.
We know that he prays that serves, he praises that gives, he adores that obeys, and the life is the best music. Oh! set it to the good music, we pray Thee, and help us all through to keep to each note, and may there be no false note in all the singing of our life, but all be according to that sacred score which is written out so fully in the life music of our Lord.
-From Lord, Teach Me to Pray, by John MacArthur, pg. 84-
~Baby Blanket~
Hello! Well now that spring softball is over and I have a little bit of a break 'til summer softball, I thought I would work on some of my projects that I have put off. One of them is a baby blanket. Here are some pictures of the blanket all most finished. I posted pictures of it when I got the material but here are some pictures of it now.

Yesterday I worked on my room a bit. I cleaned it and hung little flowers from my light. Sorry the pictures are a little dark. :) The second picture is from underneath it. So that is why it looks like that! :)

~♥~ Have Thine Own Way, Lord ~♥~
Have Thine Own Way, Lord
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay!
Mold me and make me After Thy will,
While I am waiting, Yielded and still.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, Wash me just now,
As in Thy presence Humbly I bow.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, Help me, I pray!
Power, all power Surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o'er my being Absolute sway!
Fill with the Spirit Till all shall see
Christ only, always, Living in me.

♥ Flowers ♥
Hello! This wonderful Sunday afternoon we had C and Katie, and Katie's family come to our house for dinner today. We had the most splendid time with them! We had hamburgers, creamy coleslaw, snicker salad, chips, beans and iced tea. After dinner we had root beer floats! Yummy! While everyone was still at our house my grandma came over as well for Mother's day. After Katie's family and C and Katie left, Ana and I went outside and sat on the swing, and grass, and drank iced tea and listened to music in the gorgeously warm weather. After we did that for a while we had to go to Katie's house to help them with some work over there. It's been a wonderful Lord's day. I unfortunately do not have any pictures from today but I do have some pictures of flowers that I took a while ago and just didn't get around to posting them. So I'll post them now! Enjoy!

:-: This Is My Father's World :-:
This Is My Father's World
This is my Father's world, and to my listening ears
all nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres.
This is my Father's world I rest me in the thought
of rocks and trees and skies and seas- his hand the wonders wrought.
This is our Father's world O let us not forget
that though the wrong is great and strong, God is the ruler yet.
He trusts us with his world, to keep it clean and fair-
all earth and trees, all skies and seas, all creatures everywhere.
This is my Father's world: he shines in all that's fair;
in the rustling grass I hear him pass, he speaks to me everywhere.
This is my Father's world: why should my heart be sad?
The Lord is King, let heaven ring! God reigns; let earth be glad!
WORDS: Maltbie D. Babcock, 1901, alt.; st. 2 rev., Mary Babcock Crawford. 1972
MUSIC: Traditional English melody; adapt. Franklin L. Sheppard. 1915

-•- Thursday Shopping Fun -•-
Thursday morning my sister Ana and I went shopping to Wal-mart and Target in pursuit of new matching sandals. It was GREAT fun! We went to Wal-mart and they didn't have any sandals that we liked so we shopped a little more there and Ana bought a really cute shirt and we bought some "Fruit by the foot" (one of my favorites) to eat on the way home. After going to Wal-Mart we headed over to Target to see if they had sandals that would work for us. We found some absolutely adorable sandals! So Ana got a black pair and I got a white pair because they didn't have my size in black. I guess that's what happens when you have big feet! :) But I love my white ones and now we can tell them apart easier. It was a great time of being able to catch up with each other and just be able to chat. Hopefully we'll be able to do it again soon. So here are some pictures of our Shopping day, and if you want to see some more pictures on this day Ana has some on her blog.
<---After we bought our sandals we took off our shoes and socks and sweaters and threw them in the back seat.
<---Music and pop.
<---"Fruit by the Foot"! YUMMY!

¤ Fishing for sunnies ¤
Hello! Well this afternoon I went fishing, for the first time this year, with my sister Ana, my bro E, and my friend C. We had such a blast! I caught two fish! Wahoo! We had to leave early because I had to go to softball practice, but the time that we did get to spend at the lake was wonderful! Catching those tiny fish reminded me of Matthew 14:13-21 were Jesus feeds the 5,000. It says that they had "five loaves and two fish."(Matt. 14:17 NAS) I don't know how big their fish were but if they were the same size as mine I probably would have responded the same way the disciples did, with doubt. But God is able to do exceedingly more then we can ever imagine. So even if their fish were as small as mine Jesus still would have been able to feed the 5,000. So here are some pictures of our fishing party. Enjoy! If you want to see some more pictures of our fishing trip Ana has some at her site.
