Was it really a year ago?

Well, actually it was on the 24th so I'm a couple days late.... but it was a year ago that my Grandma's cold dead body was lowered into the grave. I miss her VERY much. I find little things around the house that remind me of her and I get a little choked up. A birthday card signed with love from Grandma, a picture of her giving me a gift..... priceless treasures......
" O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:55-58

I know it can be hard to remember a loved one, but the memories we have of them are great treasures. My grandma on my mom's side dies when I was 2, so I don't really have any memories of her, and my grandma on my dad's side is living in a nursing home, and doesn't remember anyone but her husband. We go and visit her, but to her, we're just strangers. I have wonderful memories with her though, that I'll cherish forever. I understand how painful it can be at times...

You are in my prayers,

~Emily

Emily-
I only have one biological grandparent left. Even though I didn't know all of my grandparents personally, I love them so much!! I love listening to stories about them and seeing old pictures of them. :)

I will be praying for you today, Leah. Remember, that your memories of your Grandmother keep her alive in your heart. :) **hugs**
