Hello,
Just to update you again. I tried out for the Wizard of Oz play and I found out that I am going to be an Ozian Manacurist! If you have ever seen the movie then you'll know who I am. I come in at the end I wear a green dress. Just like in the movie! Even though it isn't the part that I had hoped to get I know that it is what's best because if it wasn't God would have had me be somebody else. :)
On Tuesday I had my first summer softball game of the year. All of our games are going to be double headers (two games) so the whole team will get to play different positions. I played 1st base in the first game and then I pitched the first 3 innings of the second game and then was moved to 3rd base and then moved to 1st again. I actually slightly dislocated my shoulder diving for a ball while playing 1st base. Fun fun!! But it is better today and I will be playing a game tonight. I am also recovering from a cold. :) So cheering should be interesting since I pretty much lost my voice!! :) haha
The Lord answered our prayers by allowing me to get a job as a teller at the bank here in town. This is the first real job that I have ever had and I pray that God will be glorified in everything I do there.
So, that's the update. Until next time. Praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy to us poor sinners!

Wow! That's quite a week! That's fun that you get to be in Wizard of Oz! I know how you feel about not getting the role you wanted. I was in the Christian Youth Theater version of Through The Looking Glass, and I got the role of the butterfly, instead of the role I had wanted, which was the Queen of Hearts. My role included a solo...and I really didn't want a solo. God did so much in me through that role I hope I impacted people as much as I was impacted over those few months, and I met some of my best friends over the last few weeks of rehearsals, so I hope it goes well for you too! Well, now that I've taken up your comment space and you time, I must bid you farewell! I would enjoy it if you emailed me! I hope to get in touch!
Love in Christ Jesus,

Savannah!
Thanks for the comment!
That is a very good example. Good to see God working in other people, and the people responding as they ought. Thank you for using up my comment space! :) Any time.
I know you didnt get the part you wanted, but I know that you are going to be great at the part you got!! Your going to have a lot of fun practicing and being creative!!
Tiff~
Thanks soooo much for the comment. I am really looking forward to practicing for the play. I can't wait!!! :)
Leah, wow you are one BUSY girl. I think it is wonderful that God has gifted you in so many different ways; athletically, artistically, and intellectually! May He be glorified in softball, Wizard of Oz, and the bank! I didn't always get the parts I wanted in shows either, but I think they always ended up being the part I was supposed to have! I hope your throat and shoulder will both be feeling well soon. Congrats on the first job. What an exciting thing, I remember finding out I was hired for my first job, I was just shocked that I was the one chosen. Oh Leah, may you shine brightly in the bank as you serve God. May they see your heart and even ask you for the reason for the hope you have!!!!
It is a blessing to be able to communicate with you through your blog. I look forward to hearing more and also seeing a photo or two from the musical!!!
